Richard Moat
Managing Director, T-Mobile UK
Richard became Managing Director of T-Mobile UK in June 2009. During the previous 17 years, he held leading positions within France Telecom's Orange Group, most recently as CEO of Orange Romania. Between 2000 and 2004, he was CEO of Orange Thailand and CEO Orange Denmark.
Prior to this, after joining Orange in 1992 as a senior manager in the finance function, he progressed to become Corporate Finance Director, and subsequently International Group Director of Finance. Before joining Orange, he spent 12 years with the USX/Marathon Group in various financial positions. In his early career, he was an analyst for Sedgwick plc and Lloyd's of London. Richard, 54, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants, holds a diploma in corporate finance and accounting from London Business School, and an MA honours in law from St Catharine's College, Cambridge.
