Fabrizio Mambrini
Chief Financial Officer, Cell C
Fabrizio Mambrini is presently CFO of the third South African mobile operator, Cell C. He has 20 years Telecom experience; he started his career in fixed-line incumbent operator Telecom Italia, where he worked in Technical and Customer Care Departments. Later he took part in the start-up of one of the first GSM companies in Europe; STET Hellas where he was appointed CFO, successfully driving the IPO of the company in NASDAQ in 1998. After seven years he left Greece in 2001 to go to Turkey, where he participated, as CFO, in the start-up of AVEA, third mobile operator in Turkey. He left Telecom Italia Group in 2007 to join Oger Telecom.
Mr Mambrini has extensive experience of work in multi-national and multi-cultural environments and focuses his activities in the areas of financial and operational control, business planning and strategy and project financing.
Due to his background - he has a doctorate in Electric Engineering and Robotics - he also participates in technical projects involving Network and IT restructuring providing support in contract negotiations.
